Frequently asked questions

What OneBloc is, how it works, and the questions people ask before starting.

What is this, exactly?

OneBloc turns your guest Wi-Fi into advertising space. You put one QR code in your premises; a customer scans it, sees whatever you're promoting this week, and a few seconds later gets the Wi-Fi password. You get their attention and the numbers in exchange.

What do I need to get started?

A Wi-Fi network your customers can use, and one printed QR code. No new hardware, no router changes, nobody has to visit.

Do customers need an app?

No. They point a phone camera at the code and a web page opens. Nothing to install, no account to create.

Can I still change my Wi-Fi password?

Yes, whenever you like. The QR points at your page, not at the password itself — so codes you've already printed keep working after you rotate it.

What does it cost?

The first venue is free to start. No contract and no setup fee. See whether anyone scans it before you spend anything.

What is local sharing?

An optional feature. Turn it on and your offer appears on other OneBloc screens in your area, and theirs appear on yours. It's off by default — nothing is shared until you switch it on.

Do you take my customers' data?

We record scans, views and offers claimed so we can show you your own numbers. We don't sell that data and we don't market to your customers on our own behalf.

What if I have more than one outlet?

Every location, table or room can have its own QR with its own numbers, all under one account.
